Great American Media World Premiere Original for Great American Christmas 2026
NEW YORK, NY – April 14, 2026 – Great American Media announced an ensemble of family talent is set to star in the Great American Christmas Original movie, Silver Bells at Christmas which is currently in production. Leading the way is famed Broadway singer, Laura Osnes (A Little Women’s Christmas, Just in Time), Ryan McPartlin (“Chuck,” Amish Affair), American country music artist Chuck Wicks, Julia Reilly (County Rescue, Christmas of Giving), Tanya Christiansen (County Rescue, A Little Women’s Christmas), Taylor Kalupa (“The Fix”), and D.B. Sweeney (The Cutting Edge, Reporting for Christmas). Silver Bells at Christmas will premiere as part of Great American Christmas 2026.
In the small town of Comfort, Kentucky, Ginny Nolan (Osnes) is determined to save her late mother’s cherished Christmas shop, Silver Bells, before mounting repairs cause it to close. When ambitious entrepreneur Nick Day (McPartlin) arrives with plans to buy the shop, Ginny finds herself at odds with his vision for the future but also drawn to him on a personal level. As her former music partner – and almost first love – Tyler Benton (Wicks) returns home to participate in a Christmas songwriting showcase, old feelings resurface. Caught between Nick’s compelling offer and obvious interest in her, and Tyler’s renewed connection, Ginny must choose between protecting the past she loves and embracing a future that could change her heart forever.

The film is produced and directed by Brandon Clark (A Little Women’s Christmas), written by Jessica Baughman and Taylor Bird (A Little Women’s Christmas) as a co-production between True Brand Entertainment, Wrigley Media Group and Wild Chapel Productions, and Produced by Rodney Eldridge and Nicolaas Bertelsen. NEW YORK, NY – July 10, 2024 – Great American Family, an industry leader in the production of quality original holiday content, announced Trevor Donovan (‘Twas the Text Before Christmas, Jingle Bell Princess), Jen Lilley (A Paris Christmas Waltz, “Days Of Our Lives”), Laura Osnes (Candace Cameron Bure Presents: Just In Time, A Dash of Christmas), Jesse Hutch (A Christmas Blessing, B&B Merry), Jillian Murray (A Brush With Christmas), and Julia Reilly (“County Rescue”), star in the network’s first-ever ensemble Christmas Original Movie, A Little Women’s Christmaswhich premieres this holiday season as part of Great American Christmas 2024. Also starring Gladys Knight who performs her new original Christmas song, “Joy.” Great American Christmas is in its fourth season and the franchise has quickly become one of America’s most popular programming events.
A Little Women’s Christmas is a contemporary retelling of the beloved classic novel, following the lives and loves of the March sisters in a small Tennessee town at Christmas. Jo March is played by Jillian Murray, Trevor Donovan is Friedrich “Fritz” Baehr, Meg March is played by Jen Lilley, Laura Osnes plays Beth March, Julia Reilly is Amy March, and John is played by Jesse Hutch. The one-and-only Gladys Knight performs “Joy.”

The film marks Executive Producer, Bure’s, first-time working with actress and singer, Laura Osnes, whose successes includes a Tony AwardÒ nomination for Best Actress in a musical for her role as Bonnie Parker in Bonnie & Clyde and a second Tony AwardÒ nomination for the title role in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella.

In Just in Time, Hannah (Osnes) and her husband, Rowan (Holt) have focused all their time, energy, and attention into trying to have a baby. The pressure to complete their family starts weighing heavily on their relationship. The couple is left questioning if having a child is the right thing to do and if they are still right for one another. When Hannah receives a call from a stranger, named Franklin (Bryant), who claims to have discovered an antique on the beach bearing an inscription unique to Hannah and Rowan, she reluctantly agrees to meet him to look. Franklin is certain the watch is a long-lost heirloom from Hannah’s family. In the end, Franklin’s patient approach helps Hannah see that the answers to all she seeks will be revealed in God’s time.
