NEW YORK, NY – June 3, 2025 – Great American Media continues to build on the success of its Original series lineup with the premiere of “Crossroad Springs,” a moving new drama debuting on Pure Flix, Thursday, August 28, and on Great American Family, Sunday, August 31, as part of the flagship network’s “Faith & Family Sundays” program event. “Crossroad Springs,” starring Jonathan Stoddard (A Royal Christmas Ballet), Emily Alalato (Christmas In Maple Hills), Shaun Johnston (“Heartland”), Kate Drummond (“Heartland”), Brittany Underwood (A Royal Christmas Ballet), Jesse Hutch (A Little Women’s Christmas), Jon McLaren (“When Hope Calls”), Erin Agostino (The Jingle Bell Jubilee), and Franco Lo Presti (“Bad Blood”), bring audiences stories rooted in faith, family, and the strength found in unity.

Built around the simple but powerful idea that the end of one road can lead to something greater, Crossroad Springs follows a family at a pivotal turning point and a town becoming a symbol of resilience, purpose, and hope.

“Crossroad Springs” follows the Hamilton family, adult siblings James (Stoddard) and Janet (Alatalo), their aging family members, dad, Willis (Johnston), and Aunt Amy (Drummond), who are eking out a living on Hamilton Ranch with financial hardships and staffing shortages. James, a pastor in Chicago, and Janet, an ER doctor in a neighboring town, feel called to return home to help the family. Once there, the siblings encounter the son of the owner of the neighboring farm, Daniel Newman (Hutch), who are all wary of each other due to a generational feud between the families. As he settles into his new day-to-day life on the farm, James begins to realize there are no places to worship on the thousands of acres of farms. There, in the environment of come-as-you-are vibes, barns, rodeo arenas, even outdoors under clear night skies, James starts a cowboy church right there in the place where faith, family, and ranch life go hand in hand.

Great American Media Announces Start of Production, Home Sweet Christmas Wedding (WT), Starring Candace Cameron Bure and Cameron Mathison, Part of Great American Christmas 2025 on Great American Family and Pure Flix

NEW YORK, NY – May 21, 2025 — Great American Media has officially announced the start of production on Home Sweet Christmas Wedding (wt), sequel to the 2024 holiday hit, Home Sweet Christmas. The new film reunites Candace Cameron Bure and Cameron Mathison, reprising their roles as Sophie and Sam. The sequel is set to premiere as part of the company’s Great American Christmas 5th Anniversary celebration this holiday season on Great American Family and Pure Flix.

In Home Sweet Christmas Wedding (wt): As snow falls gently on their quaint hometown, Sophie and Sam are swept into the magic of the Christmas season—only this time, it’s through the lens of a movie being filmed about their very own love story. At first, the process of art imitating life is like a fairy-tale, but soon, the challenges of making the film start to threaten Sam and Sophia’s real-life wedding plans or lack thereof. With the studio threatening to pull the plug and the couple feeling disconnected, Sam’s dream job is quickly turning into a Christmas nightmare. The couple must look within themselves to recapture the spark that made their story worth telling in the first place. Will this blockbuster leave their story (and Sam’s career) on the cutting room floor, or be a classic for generations to come?

The original film Home Sweet Christmas followed Sophie Marlow, a successful M&A lawyer who returns to her hometown of Waynesbridge, Washington, after inheriting 60% of her great uncle’s maple farm. There, she reconnects with childhood friend, Sam, who has inherited the remaining 40%. The shared inheritance leads them to rediscover their past and consider a new future.
