GREAT AMERICAN FAMILY UNVEILS PREMIERE DATES FOR 20 ALL-NEW CHRISTMAS MOVIES CELEBRATING BELOVED HOLIDAY TRADITIONS, GIVES HOLIDAY MOVIE FANS EARLY ACCESS TO SNEAK PEEK OF EVENT

NEW YORK, NY – October 12, 2023 – Today Candace Cameron Bure, Chief Creative Officer, Great American Media, announced the network’s popular holiday franchise, Great American Christmas will return to air a week earlier than planned, beginningFriday, October 13 (6 a.m. ET). Great American Family released world premiere dates for its 20 all-new, original Christmas movies in the slate below while also gifting holiday movie fans with a front row seat to Great American Christmas in a sneak peek video showcasing the star-studded lineup (link).

The event is the most expansive in the history of Great American Christmas, featuring20 all-new World Premiere original movies and delivering the strongest family-friendly, faith-based seasonal offerings on linear television. The event features original movie premieres every weekend beginning October 14 through December 23. Encores of thenew films, along with classic Great American Christmas originals will brighten the season 24 hours a day through the end of the year.

As previously announced, the celebration does not end on December 31, as Great American Family is the exclusive cable television home of the beloved 135th Tournament of Roses Parade on New Year’s Day. Great American Family is America’s fastest-growing cable television network for the past 11 consecutive months.

Destined 2: Christmas Once More, starring Shae Robins and Casey Elliott, premieres Saturday, October 14 (8 p.m. ET). In this sequel, Theo (Elliott) continues to miss connecting with his girlfriend, Kim (Robbins) as he attempts to propose at Christmas.

‘Twas the Text Before Christmas, starring Merritt Patterson and Trevor Donovan, premieres Saturday, October 21 (8 p.m. ET). An unexpected text message sent to the wrong number (Patterson) sets into motion a Christmas tradition with a new family (Donovan) over three separate years.

Bringing Christmas Home, starring Jill Wagner and Paul Greene, premieres Saturday, October 28 (8 p.m. ET). A professor of military history (Wagner) teams with an antique store owner (Greene) to track down the original owner of a historic WWII uniform and the love letters left in its pockets.

A Royal Date for Christmas (wt), starring Danica McKellar and Damon Runyan, premieres Saturday, November 25 (8 p.m. ET). When a European Duke (Runyon) arrives in the US, he realizes that his bags have been lost in transit. He has no choice but to be styled, and ultimately inspired, by Bella (McKellar) the owner of a local boutique. 

A Christmas for the Ages, starring Natasha Bure, Anna Ferguson, Kate Craven, and Cheryl Ladd, premieres Sunday, November 26 (8 p.m. ET). Prompted by their youngest granddaughter (Bure), four generations celebrate family and what Christmas was like in the 40s, 60s, 90s, and present day. 

Christmas on Windmill Way, starring Christa Taylor Brown and Chad Michael Murray, premieres Saturday, December 2 (8 p.m. ET). To save her family’s legacy windmill, a woman (Taylor Brown) must remind her ex-boyfriend (Michael Murray) of the best of their hometown.

The Jinglebell Jubilee (wt), starring Erin Agostino and Marshall Williams, premieres Sunday, December 3 (8 p.m. ET). A city manager (Williams) recruits the help of a childhood friend (Agostino) in setting right his town’s Christmas Charity event, while she sets to work setting him up with her close friend.

NEW YORK, NY – July 8, 2023 – Great American Family today announced production has wrapped on A Royal Christmas Romance, starring Danica McKellar (Swing Into Romance, The Winter Palace) and Damon Runyan (Christmas in Washington, A Snowy Christmas), and will premiere on Thanksgiving Weekend. A Royal Christmas Romance is one of the 21 (and counting) new films for Great American Christmas, which returns October 20 with new holiday movie premieres every Saturday and Sunday and 24/7 Christmas movies through the end of the year.

In A Royal Christmas Romance, Bella Sparks (McKellar), owner of Bella Sparks Couture, takes on a demanding new client “Stefan” (Runyan) to outfit for a week of high stakes meetings and events after his luggage goes missing. Stefan asks Bella to be his “official plus one” for many of the formal soirees, a request Bella accepts with good humor. Imagine Bella’s reaction when she accidentally discovers “Stefan” is Stefan William Francis Brown, the Duke of Tangford.

A Royal Christmas Romance is executive produced by Brad Krevoy, Amy Krell, Vince Balzano, Danica McKellar, Susie Belzberg Krevoy, Bradley Walsh, and Kelly Martin. Supervising producer is W. NEW YORK, NY – March 20, 2023 – Great American Family, TV’s fastest growing network in Fourth Quarter 2022, announced today “Dancing With The Stars” alum, Danica McKellar (The Winter Palace) is set to star in Swing Into Romance, an all-new, original movie slated for the network’s fall program event, ‘Autumn Harvest.’ Previously, it was announced that McKellar will also star in an upcoming holiday original movie as part of the network’s popular ‘Great American Christmas’ franchise.

In Swing Into Romance, when former dancer Christine Sims (McKellar) temporarily returns to her hometown in time for the town’s Fall Festival, she discovers her family’s General Store is in trouble. In her efforts to save the business, Christine will need to dust off those dancing shoes one more time, face her ex-fiancé, and maybe even find love.

NEW YORK, NY – February 15, 2023 – Great American Family today announced Danica McKellar is set to star in, Royal Christmas Ball, an original holiday movie premiering as part of the network’s highly anticipated annual holiday event, Great American Christmas 2023. In addition to starring in the film, “Dancing With the Stars” alum McKellar wrote the story with Marcy Holland and serves as one of the film’s executive producers. Teleplay by Marcy Holland.

In Royal Christmas Ball, Chelsea Shaw, a Chicago-based dance instructor whose adoptive parents have long since passed, travels to the small European country of Havenshire over Christmas break in search of her heritage… and maybe even family. Discovering that the only way to get access to information she needs on her quest is via the royal family, she accepts an offer to teach a very reluctant Prince a special Waltz for the traditional Royal Christmas Ball. By the end of this Christmas adventure, Chelsea finds love, answers to her deepest questions, and yes, family.

NEW YORK, NY – September 21, 2022 – Great American Family today announced Danica McKellar (“The Wonder Years,” The Winter Palace) and Neal Bledsoe (“The Man in High Castle,” The Winter Palace) are set to star in Christmas at the Drive-In, premiering on the network this holiday season. McKellar is also executive producer for the film, her first original Christmas movie since signing a multi-picture deal with Great American Family. Christmas at the Drive-In reunites McKellar and Bledsoe following the successful premiere of The Winter Palace in January. Christmas at the Drive-In is part of Great American Christmas, the network’s holiday programming franchise which returns on October 21 with a new slate of original holiday movie premieres every Saturday and Sunday and Christmas movies all day and all night through the end of 2022.

In Christmas at the Drive-In, Sadie Walker (McKellar) is starting over in her hometown of Chesterfield, New York, following a series of major life disruptions that include leaving her law practice after losing her biggest case and no longer being engaged. Now a law professor at Chesterfield College, Sadie has no interest in ever pursuing law again until she finds herself fighting to preserve a cherished local landmark, Chesterfield Drive-In. Sadie is surprised to find out her passionate effort to keep the drive-in open has staunch opposition – the late owner’s son and Sadie’s childhood sweetheart, Holden (Bledsoe).
