Original Christmas Film for Great American Christmas 2026

NEW YORK, NY – December 22, 2025 – Great American Media today announced a new partnership with the City of Branson, Missouri, and Silver Dollar City to produce an original Christmas film as part of Great American Christmas 2026. The film, An Ozark Mountain Christmas, stars Brianna Cohen (A Royal Christmas Manor, Saving the Christmas Ranch) and Jonathan Stoddard (“Crossroad Springs,” A Royal Christmas Tail) and will stream exclusively on Great American Pure Flix, with linear and live-feed premieres on Great American Family and GFAM+.

This collaboration brings together partners who share a deep commitment to faith, family and country. Branson’s long-standing reputation for wholesome entertainment, craftsmanship, and community makes it a natural fit for Great American Media’s Christmas storytelling. Filmed on location, the movie showcases Branson during the holiday season, highlighting the city’s character, heritage, and enduring appeal.

As part of the partnership, the City of Branson will extend its holiday light displays into January to support production. NEW YORK, NY – July 10, 2025 – Great American Media announced production is underway on A Christmas List of Blessings, an Original Movie starring Shae Robins (Destined At Christmas, Destined At Christmas: Once More, Love In Aruba) and Christopher Russell (“When Hope Calls,” Peppermint And Postcards, A Vintage Christmas), which will premiere as part of Great American Christmas 2025. Great American Christmas Year 5 Original Movie Premieres will be available to stream on Great American Pure Flix, airing on Great American Family, and a commercial-free option on GFAM+, the company’s 24/7 live channel feed. In its first five years, Great American Christmas has produced one of the most coveted Original Christmas movie libraries in entertainment. In A Christmas List of Blessings, Natalie (Robins), a children’s book illustrator struggling with creative burnout, finds unexpected inspiration when she comes across a little girl’s Christmas gift list. Unlike other children’s Christmas lists, Caroline writes her list of heartfelt prayers to Jesus, requesting blessings for her family, friends, and community – including one to ask that her recently widowed dad (Russell) will find happiness again. Touched by Caroline’s list, Natalie begins to secretly fulfill each blessing. In turn, she is inspired to create a new character, Adeline the Angel, to illustrate the ways Jesus quietly works through everyday people to answer prayers with love and grace.

In Grounded in Love, Annie (McKellar), a spirited, Manhattan-based flight attendant, thrives on adventure and freedom, until an unexpected airline merger grounds her career and a breakup with a self-absorbed boyfriend leaves her questioning everything. Searching for clarity, Annie takes a road trip to her grandmother’s rural Kentucky farm – a place she hasn’t visited in years, though holds close to her heart. Nothing on the farm seems to have changed, except Jake (Donovan), Annie’s childhood friend who recently traded in fast-paced city life for something more intentional. Russell. The World Premiere of Grounded is slated for Spring 2025.

In Grounded, Annie (McKellar), a career flight attendant who loves her job and traveling the world, is dealt a blow when an airlines merger causes her to be furloughed, a setback further compounded by breaking up with a selfish boyfriend. Looking for a reprieve, Annie drives from Manhattan to her grandmother’s Kentucky farm. After a few character-building days, life on the farm ultimately brings Annie unexpected blessings in the form of rediscovering her faith, and reconnecting with her handsome childhood friend, Jake (Donovan), who has just moved back from the big city to create a more grounded and intentional life for himself.

GREAT AMERICAN FAMILY ANNOUNCES DANICA MCKELLAR SET TO STAR IN

PART OF GREAT AMERICAN CHRISTMAS 2024

NEW YORK, NY – April 23, 2024 – Great American Family, one of the nation’s leading producers of original holiday content, announced Danica McKellar (A Royal Date for Christmas, Swing Into Romance) and Oliver Rice (“Firefly Lane,” Magic In Mistletoe) are set to star in, A Royal Christmas Ball (wt), which begins production this week. A Royal Christmas Ball, with waltzes choreographed by “Dancing With the Stars” professional dancer Gleb Savchencko, premieres this November as part of Great American Christmas 2024.

In A Royal Christmas Ball, Chelsea Jones (McKellar) is a dance instructor and studio owner in Chicago who inspires kids to find themselves through dance. Just before Christmas, Chelsea discovers a photo she’s never seen before. Chelsea thinks the young woman is her birth mother who passed away when she was only five years old. The woman is in a wedding dress tugging on the hand of a man wearing a wedding ring, but that is all that can be seen of the man Chelsea believes may be her father. The photo’s handwritten inscription reads, “Our place, Havenshire, December 23, 1984.” With only the internet, a plane ticket, and lifelong determination to go on, Chelsea now has four days in Havenshire to solve the mystery of her birth family. Along the way, she’ll have to sneak into a castle, teach a stubborn Prince how to dance, and be in just the right place on Christmas Eve when the bells toll.

“Oliver Rice exudes a dashing Cary Elwes-vibe,” said star, Danica McKellar. “Oliver grew up in London and graduated from Oxford School of Drama and brings genuine nobility to the role of Prince Phillip. I cannot wait for fans to see him in the film,” McKellar concluded.
