NEW YORK, NY – September 23, 2025 – Great American Media announced Jillian Murray and Trevor Donovan are set to star in Mario Lopez Presents: Mission Merry Christmas, a new, Original film for the 5th anniversary edition of GREAT AMERICAN CHRISTMAS. Great American Christmas celebrates a milestone five-year anniversary when the popular franchise returns to air on Great American Family and GFAM+ on October 10, and streams exclusively on Great American Pure Flix beginning October 16.

In Mission Merry Christmas, when a Christmas wishes tree brings together morning show host Michael (Donovan) and artist/designer, Mia (Murray), they set out on a holiday mission to make a child’s Christmas dreams come true. Teaming up with Michael’s daughter, Daphne, and Mia’s son, Cruz (Lopez), the two families race across Buffalo in search of the season’s most sought-after toy – The Golden Gliders. Along the way, festive adventures, unexpected challenges and the spirit of the season draw Michael and Mia closer, proving the greatest gift is finding love and family when you least expect it.
